Dimentional Rune`Sight:    

When looking upon one or more spells etched into a surface, there will be a chance of each spell rising, as if floating, a haze of gray light stretching between the spell and the surface it is etched into.

 

An avoidance-roll vs. "Enchantment" must be successful in order to see this happen (1/2 your intelligence (rounded down) = the % chance). This avoidance-roll will be checked rolled for each and every spell being observed.

 

This can only be attempted 1 time per spell (although the same spell can be checked for again in another place). Rarely does an entire group of spells rise up in this manner at the same time, but it has been known to occur.

 

When a spell rises from a surface, it will illuminate, but only for your eyes, and only for 3-D20 turns. While this is happening, you can will that spell to you and absorb it to be used later by making another avoidance-roll vs. "Enchantment". If successful, this will take 1-D6 turns per spell. Once a spell is successfullly transfered to you, it will be "Usable" as follows:

 

%Roll: Usable:

01-80:   1 time.

81-87:   1-D2 times.

88-93:   1-D3 times.

94-98:   1-D4 times.

99-00:   Permanent absorption, usuable 1 time per 72 hours.

 

If successful, the spell will leap toward you, striking you in the forehead (again, only you will see and feel this happen).
